Kennedy, Robert F (1925-1968) U.S. attorney general and adviser during the administration of his brother President John F. Kennedy (1961-63). Later U.S. senator (1965-68), he was assassinated while campaigning for the presidential nomination. Remembered for his contribution to the civil rights movement.
Signature. ("Robert F Kennedy") Signed Time Magazine cover. Inscribed in black ink ("To Jose F. Gonzalez ") Matted to an overall size of 11 x 14." There is some adhesive residue at the bottom left corner but otherwise this cover is in very good condition.
A beautiful printed portrait, likely watercolor with pen and ink definition. Issued in September 1966, while Kennedy was serving as U.S.Senator from Massachusetts.
