1798/7 Overdate 8 over 7. Style I Hair. . S-150 R5. Good-6. Sharpness F15 but covered with fine roughness, strongest on the reverse where there are a few microscopic traces of shallow verdigris. A dull dent over the N in ONE is the only significant mark, and it is strong enough to cause a bulge on the back of the neck near the shoulder. Slightly glossy dark olive and steel brown. The date and legends are complete and strong, and the overdate feature is clear. LDS, Breen state IV.
