1799/8 S-188 R4 Overdate 9 over 8. Good-5. Mostly glossy chocolate brown. The surfaces are decent and reasonably smooth, but there are traces of extremely fine roughness in the fields and protected areas. No verdigris, and the only notable marks are a small rim nick right of the upper edge of the bust and a thin diagonal nick in the center of the reverse. The bottom of the date is flowing into the rim below but the upper two-thirds is clear. The legends are complete although portions on the reverse are very weak. EDS.
