1798 S-180 R5+ Style II Hair with Small 8. About Good-3. The obverse is a bit stronger while the reverse is weaker. There is some very light roughness across the middle of the reverse, but mostly this cent is just well worn. No verdigris. Mostly glossy chocolate brown. The bottom of the 179 is weak, as usual due to the opposing cud break, but the rest is clear and most of the legends remains readable. MDS, Breen state III, with a strong cud break over TATE.
