Lot 118

1820 N-10 R2 Large Date PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Lustrous light to medium steel brown. Nicely struck and very attractive. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. Essentially free of marks; just a few trivial ticks on the throat. MDS with fine radial die flowlines in the fields and the small dash left of the first A in AMERICA is still clear, but the center dot on the reverse is gone. Called "Uncirculated" by Blaisdell, Bland, and Naftzger. Noyes graded MS60 and tied for CC#5, his photo #20082. Our grade is AU55. Comes with a very nice provenance. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36664. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
