A Colorful Collection of Snuff Bottles. China, 19th - 20th century. More quality examples - - in burled wood, interior-painted glass, hard stone, ivory, lacquer and mother of pearl, an old celluloid-plastic(?), and glazed pottery. Included: figures in gardens, a miniature with a remarkable tiny painted landscape, an antique painted glass bottle simulating tortoise shell, and an amusing bottle with a Santa Claus-like portrait! Heights: 1-1/2" - 3-1/2". Collected mostly in the 1960's and 70's. Lot of 17 items.
