1893 Chicago Iron Works Medal, Eglit-28. Pot metal, 69mm. This medal is unusually well preserved. Most medals produced in pot metal will show significant signs of corrosion and environmental damaged. This medal, with the Administration Building in high relief of the obverse was issued by the Western Office in Helena, Montana. It has a few dark areas of oxidation on the obverse and a light coating of lacqure on the reverse. Our grade MS-62 to MS-63.
