Mexico - Guerrero. Revolutionary Period. 2 Pesos, 1915-CoMo (Campo Morado). WR--; Eliz--; KM-660; GB-174. 26.20 grams. Zapata Issues. "DOBE" Dollar. Eagle atop cactus, seizing snake. Reverse: Sunface over smoking volcano. Reeded edge. A better strike for series, with less weak areas than usual. Overall clean and very lustrous. Lightly toned a warmish gray, with areas tending to blue and violet. NGC graded MS-61.

In the state of Guerrero, during the revolution, the Zapata forces operated seven mints. Campo Morado was one of these mints. Coins of 2 Pesos was the largest denomination produced.
