Sports Revolutionaries. Signatures. Lot of three signed Time Magazines, complete issues. Including Amos Alonzo Stagg, Happy Chandler and Peter Ueberroth -- each a star responsible for changing the way their sports were played and marketed. The Stagg cover has been professionally reconstructed, there is some wear at the top of the Chandler magazine, but the overall condition is good to very good.
Stagg's contributions to football (the tackling dummy for one) and baseball (the head slide) had a lasting impact. Chandler and Ueberroth were both important baseball commissioners (Chandler probably more so) and Ueberroth's Los Angeles Olympics changed the way Olympics were run and marketed.
