Cohen, Carl [Mafia]. Cohen was manager of the El Rancho in Las Vegas. He was allegedly employed by the Mafia, and was questioned in the Congressional Committee Investigation of the Mafia's involvement in Las Vegas casinos.
Two Checks Signed. 8.5 x 3.75". The first, "Hotel El Rancho Vegas, August 21, 1952. Pay $156.33 -- To the order of: The Alcazar, Cleveland, Ohio." The second is made out to "Lili St. Cyr" for $138.39, August 18th 1953. Both are boldly signed in blue ink. Very Good.
