1900 Barber Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 67 Cameo. Only 912 Proofs issued. Lovely light blue and lilac toning. This is a splendid Superb Cameo Proof half dollar with strong contrast. The devices on both sides are sharply made. In fact, there does not appear to be any sign of weakness on either side. The surfaces are fully original, as well, given the attractive color. The fields are reflective, and these mirrors serve to backstop the lustrous devices to their full benefit. An amazing Proof 67 coin right out of the starting gate, one that represents unimpeachable quality, although three others have received this grade: Pop 4; none finer at PCGS (PCGS # 86547) .
