1787 New Jersey Maris 63-s Rarity-2 F15. Large Planchet type with Sprig Above Plow. Glossy dark steel and chocolate. The toning is rather thick, which suggests there may be underlying microscopic granularity, but everything appears smooth. No verdigris and the only mark is a tiny rim nick under the 17 in the date. The date and legends are strong. Listed on page 70 in the "Redbook." Weight 133.4 grains.
