Mercury Program, c1960s, NASA Behind-The-Scenes Suit Photos. Lot of 50+ NASA 8x10" black and white photos, mainly from MA-9 through GT-5 and relating to space suite and astronaut testing. ALSO included are 10+ original color/black and white 4x5" negatives that were precursors of NASA publicity photos. ALSO included are original copies of NASA Project Mercury Working Paper No. 161 "Medical Operation Plan" (Langley, Nov 4, 1960,73pp., copy #118) and NASA Project Mercury Working Paper No. 174 "Astronaut Preparation and Activities Manual for Mercury Redstone Mission No. 3 (MR-3, Langley, February 6, 1961,58pp., copy #93). An important lot of classic material in generally excellent overall condition.
