Lot 1071

[Porcelain]. Wavecrest Porcelain Humidor. Wavecrest white glassware humidor. A characteristically "puffy" rectangular canister of creamy white glass, each side features a raised foliate design encircling a handpainted floral arrangement of pink daisies. One side of this jar is labeled "Cigars" in iridescent purple and gold letters. The lid is delicately painted with a Native American male hunting with a bow and arrow, swiftly riding an Appaloosa horse. The key to this locking jar is attached to a fragile chain that accompanies the piece. The Wavecrest trademark appears on the bottom. Height: 6½". Toned, a few minor surface abrasions. Still, in fine condition.
Estimated Value $750-UP.
