1795 Liberty Cap Cent. Plain edge. . S-78 R1. Good-5. The obverse is slightly better, the reverse a bit weaker. Mostly glossy chocolate and medium brown with some darker olive brown toning in the hair under the cap. The surfaces are decent and free of verdigris, but they do show traces of minor roughness, strongest at a small spot in the middle of the cap and in the wreath over the T in CENT. A couple sharp rim nicks at AME are the most notable marks. The date is strong. MDS.
