Women's Period Costume Sketches. Collection of six costume sketches featuring a range of period fashions including: a yellow, off the shoulder ball gown; a calico blue dress; a teal blue cocktail dress accented with bows; an elegant floor length black suit; an 18th century blush colored suit created for Evelyn Keyes (remembered as Scarlett O'Hara's younger sister Suellen in Gone With the Wind); and finally, an informal 18th century dress designed for Maggie Squire in a rich green. Sizes range from 11½ x 14½" to 14½ x 23". Fabric swatches for two of the designs are included. Each ink, watercolor and graphite on paperboard, but for one sketch on paper. Conditions range. Overall, the group is in good condition.
