Six Men's Period Costume Sketches. Collection of six sketches of men's period costumes. Featuring a drawing of Turhan Bey as "Aesop" in A Night in Paradise; a sketch of three mature gentlemen in riding attire; a costume sketch for General Custer wearing a heavy navy coat with fur trimmed cape and hat; two sketches of South African Askari men; and finally, a sketch of three warriors from Samarkand. Each in watercolor, ink, and graphite on paperboard. Sizes range from 13¾ x 20¼ to 14½ x 20½". Condition range. Overall, the group is in good condition.
