Helmeted soldier on horseback riding left, holding round shield in left hand, Nike stands before him, holding the reins and restraining the horse. Reverse: Divine hero Phalanthus (Taras) of Sparta astride a dolphin left, bearing round shield inscribed with [E] in left hand, waves below, IOP in left field, Taras to left.
