Two French Miniature Portraits. 1. A hand painted on ivory portait of an early 18th century aristocratic lady by Eere in a 5¼"x5¼" wood frame with a round 2½" diameter opening for the portrait. 2. Hand painted portrait on ivory of Madam de Pomador artist signed in a bejewled oval standup frame measuring 2½"x3".

Canada. Two Soapstone Eskimo Statuettes, 1970's. This lot consists of two sculptures of Eskimos carved in soapstone. The first is carved by artist Isaitukala, from the community of Povungnituk. The Eskimo man is fully clothed, with his hood up, holding what appears to be an animal limb. Height: 6 ¼"; Length: 3 ¾". The other was sculpted by the artist J. Kakie, from the Pangnirtung community. This sculpture is of an Eskimo man, fully clothed with hood up; his arm is raised holding an attachable bone knife. Height: 5 ¾"; Length: 4 ½".

Mali. Dogon Bronze Equestrian Statuette, ca. 19th Century. This statuette showcases a rider and his horse, a symbol of status and power in Mali. The rider wears a conical hat and a loin cloth. He has a bow and quiver of arrows tied onto his back and he carries a spear in his right hand, while holding the reigns to the horse in his left. The horse is stylized; it wears a bit and a decorative harness. Completely intact and free of repairs. Height: 8 ¾"; Length 6".

China. Parrot Roof Ornament, ca. 1875-1908 AD. Genuine roof ornament from the reign of Emperor Kwang Hsu. This piece originally adorned the roof of a temple. It is made of porcelain and was hand painted and glazed mostly in green, brown, and white. Height: 9"; Length: 3"; Width: 3".

Peking Glass Snuff Bottle. Simple yet elegant with a small sculptued design on its front. It surfaces exhibit a swirling mix of burnt orange which reminds one of the surface of the sun. Measures 2½"x 1¼". Condition is excellent.
