Lot 3989		1854-O $3 Gold. EF-45. This coin was struck from lapped dies as some of the letters are weak. Only 24,000 were struck, and few are available in high grades. Lot 3990		1860-S $3 Gold. Sharpness of VG-8. Only 4,408 struck in San Francisco in 1860, as demand was not too great. This one has numerous surfaces ticks and faint scratches, and was polished to an unnatural brightness. A filler, with a strong date and mintmark. Inspection mandatory. Estimated Value $200 - 250.
