1863. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo. CAC Approved. A totally brilliant white superb gem with outstanding cameo contrast. Only 460 Proofs minted. With business strike 1863 Seated Dimes a rarity, and virtually unobtainable in high grades, the weight falls on the supply of Proofs, which was limited in the extreme and the mintage shows. A few, but only a very few, survive with this coin's gorgeous originality. Per the population figures, bidders will see why we expect this handsome offering to realize a firm price realized: Pop 3; none finer at NGC.

1868-S. NGC graded MS-65. Frosty white coin.A beautiful Gem BU coin that retains undiminished luster in the fields and is generally bright silver throughout, with a touch of shimmering satin effect on the devices. The strike was sharp enough to bring up the devices such as Liberty's head and the surrounding legend, as well as the wreath details on the reverse. No evidence of the heavy die clashing which plagues some others near this grade level. One of the top survivors from the mintage of just 260,000 pieces and such quality is decidedly rare. Pop 5; 2 finer in 67.

1870. PCGS graded Proof 66. Only 1,000 minted. Lovely cobalt blue toning. Mirro deep fields on this handsome coin. At best, it is not easy to find such sparkle in an 1870 Proof. So too crisp definition on the main devices counts for a lot. Mathematically exact standards are seen in the sharp wreath and main details on Liberty. Pop 6; 4 finer, 2 in 66+, 2 in 67 (PCGS # 4763) .
