1862, 10¢ Fractional Currency. First Issue, perforated edges. PMG Uncirculated 62EPQ. Fr-1241. . KL-3214. The margins are tight at the left end, accounting for the grade, otherwise this scarce perforated edge note with no monogram appears virtually flawless from the standpoint of paper quality.

Lot 2878
1864, 10¢ Fractional Currency. Third Issue, green reverse. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65EPQ. Fr-1255. . KL-3262. While the face centering is often excellent on these fractional issues, the back centering seldom matches up with good face-to-back registration. This is a pleasant exception to the rule, as the back margins and centering actually surpass the face margins.
Estimated Value $120 - 150.

A splendid near-Gem example of this scarcer variety without the ABNco. monogram, and the single finest example of this Fr. number that PCGS Currency has graded to date. It has a straight left side, but the margins are full all around and would otherwise support a Gem grade. An exceptional piece of fractional currency.
