The heavy, extremely high relief Freedom medal depicts the Liberation Monument in Liberty Park, New Jersey, a tribute to American Servicemen who liberated the oppressed of the Holocaust. Wreaths on both sides of the Calendar medal are formed by the fruits and vegetables grown in Israel, with inscription "A land of milk and honey."
