ALS ("Geo Cruikshank"), 3pp, 5½" x 3½", 263 Hampstead Road, London, 1866 Nov. 6, 1866. To F.W. Cosens, saying "I was at your office…today with one of the title pages to 'Oliver Twist'….The one I have done is that where there are several of the subjects copied - amounting to 13….we can decide whether I shall do the other - or something else…."

Dali, Salvador (1904-1989) Spanish Surrealist painter. Limited edition print, 7/25, signed and dated "Dali 1961" in black ink. 13" x 10½". Framed to 13¾" x 11". The print was given to Selene Walters, a young actress, by Captain Peter Moore, who became Dali's private secretary and manager. He inscribed and signed in pencil on the back, "To Selene the only Angel I know this side of heaven. Peter. with love - Aug 22 New York 1961."

Picasso, Pablo (1881-1973) Spanish artist and scultptor. Original pen sketch of an old man signed and dated "Picasso 4.6.70", on 5¾" x 3½" artist's stock. Drawn in black ink. Very fine; verso has a measurement in black ink in another hand.

According to the consignor, this sketch and others were made by Picasso for the entertainment of a prominent eastern department store family with whom Picasso was close.

Pissarro"), 2pp, in French, 7" x 4¼" (18)96 July 7. To his wife Julie, with details of medical treatment he has received. Fine; light soiling. In part: "I've just come back fro Parenteau's, he cauterized me a little more heavily and examined me thoroughly. the conjunctivitis I had is gone, but…my nasal cartilage is irritated. It's nothing, it lasts longer than the inflammation of the eye itself….The stormy weather we're having slows one's recovery….Your loving husband…." With translation.

To Lesta Brooks, editor the 1967 yearbook for Southwest Miami High School. Schulz writes, "Snoopy wowuld be very pleased to choose the queen and court for the 1967 AQUILA. I have enclosed a picture of him flying his Sopwith Camel [not present]….Sincerely, Charles M. Schulz and Snoopy." Light toning, else fine.
