1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate Large 8 over 7 NGC graded AU58. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown. The surfaces are smooth but there are a couple very fine planchet laminations on the obverse including one from the Y down to the shoulder (as struck). Otherwise just minor contact marks, none notable. MDS with a very subtle wave in the field below the hair ribbon to the middle curls. The overdate feature and legends are all strong. Our grade is VF20. NGC population 3; 1 finer in 63RB at NGC. Estimated Value $3,000 - UP

1803 S-265 R4 Large Date and Fraction F12. Sharpness VF35 but covered with uniform fine granularity. No verdigris and the only mark is a long diagonal nick through the bottom of the O in ONE.
