Mammoth Northrup/Vought VTX. Large Factory Display Proposal Model 1/10 Scale

This VTX is a factory display model used by Northrop/Vought in competition for the next generation Navy trainer. The model is made of fiberglass. It is in great condition with very minor chips, dents,and scuffs. The nose has a small rub mark on the anti-glare panel. Overall the decals are in good shape, some expert touch-up has been done. Comes with a long, tri-pod, aluminum stand. A very impressive model that displays well.

Due to its size the VTX will require a third party shipper. Estimated Value $3,500 - UP

Gorgeous Lockheed F-94 Starfire. A gorgeous model of the F-94 Starfire, an all-weather, day/night interceptor. It was a first-generation jet aircraft of the United States Air Force developed from the twin-seat Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star in the late 1940s. The model is made of fiberglass/plastic. It is in beautiful condition with the only caveat that the "U S Air Force" decals on the nose have some minor flaking. Everything else is in perfect condition.

Radiant Bell XV-15. Very Rare Proposal model of the Bell XV-15. This is a large model of the N703NA, the second XV-15 prototype. This aircraft was used for tests to support the V-22 Osprey military tiltrotor program and Bell/Agusta BA609 civilian medium tiltrotor transport from the early 1970s. This is a restored model of the 2nd prototype, 703, in beautiful condition. It is made of fiberglass. The rotors spin freely and can be positioned in the up or down attitude.

The XV-15 is 32 ½ inches in length with a wing span of 28 1/4 inches. The rotor diameter is close to 20 inches. It sits at a height of 15 inches on its stand. The stand is made of wood and metal. Estimated Value $1,500 - UP

Breathtaking Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey. This is a large impressive wood model of the V-22 Osprey, the Marine version painted in camouflage. It is a multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities. The rotors can be positioned in the up or down attitude and they spin freely.

The V-22 is 29 inches in length with a wing span of 26 1/2 inches. The rotor diameter is close to 20 inches.

Superb Northrop YB-49. The Northrop YB-49 was a prototype jet-powered heavy bomber developed by Northrop Corporation shortly after World War II for service with the U.S. Air Force. The YB-49 was a turbojet-powered development of the earlier, piston-engine Northrop XB-35 and YB-35. Although scrapped by the military in the 1950s, it came back as the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber in the late 1980s.

This beautiful, large display model was restored from a factory resin blank. It has a wing span of 35 1/2 inches, widest length is 10 inches, and a height of 8 3/4 inches. Comes with a wooden stand. Estimated Value $1,500 - UP

Striking Northrop XB-35. The Northrop XB-35 was an experimental heavy bomber developed by the Northrop Corporation for the United States Army Air Forces during the end of World War II. This airplane used the radical flying wing design but lost the heavy bomber competition to the B-36. This large, impressive model is in gorgeous condition. It is of the early contra-rotating propeller version restored from a factory resin blank.

Spectacular Lockheed NF-104 Starfighter. The NF-104A was a modified Starfighter with an added rocket in the tail that served as a trainer for the North American X-15 program starting in 1963. It attained a maximum altitude of more than 120,000 feet which nearly killed the test pilot, Chuck Yeager. This rare and unusual commemorative model was given to aerospace designer Bruce Boland from the famous Skunkworks, makers of the U-2 and the SR-71, for his work on the project. Boland also designed the modified P-51 racer, Tsunami, for the Reno Air Races. The model is made of wood, and is in very good shape. The tail was broken off at one time and reattached with minor repairs. The stand is wood and metal.

Vintage United Airlines Viscount Travel Agency Display Model. The Viscount is the world's first medium-range turboprop airliner first flown in 1948 by Vickers-Armstrongs. This aircraft was powered by the Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop. This impressive early 1950s aluminum display model was restored in the 1990s. It is practically in mint condition, except for very minor cracks on the top rear fuselage. The original acrylic propeller disks were replaced with newer disks. They were made to represent the model in flight.

Unique Boeing 2707 SST. Rare, Vintage Display Model of the Boeing SST in Company Roll Out Colors. The Boeing 2707 won the competition to be the first American supersonic transport (SST) project. The design emerged to be much larger and faster than the Concorde.It had seating for 250 to 300 passengers and cruise speeds of approximately Mach 3. The model is in very good shape. The clear carrier sections of the decals on the wing have slightly yellowed. The tail boom was cracked when it fell from from the shelf in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Other than that it is in beautiful shape.

The model is made of plastic with a wing span of 17.5 inches, the length is 33.5 inches and the height at the nose is 9 inches. Comes with its wood and aluminum stand. Estimated Value $900 - UP

Beautiful Western Airlines Lockheed Electra. Large Travel Agency Display Model of the Lockheed L-188 Electra in Western livery. It is a large impressive model. The Electra is an American turboprop airliner first flown in 1957. It was the first large turboprop airliner built in the United States. This is an Atlantic Model made of resin and is quite heavy. The propellers are made of white metal. The condition is near perfect except for some small red color blemishes along the leading edge of the horizontal.

The wing span is 28 inches, length is 28 ½ inches, and height 11 inches. Comes with its stand and an upright in the form of a lightning bolt. Estimated Value $900 - UP

Rare Tom Stafford SIGNED Apollo 10 Command Module with LEM. Model of the Apollo 10 Command Module along with the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM). This model is in pristine condition; made of plastic, it is 1/48th scale. The command Module is chrome plated with painted details. Its engine pod is gimbaled and can move around. The module can also be separated from the LEM.

From the bottom of the base to the top of the model, the height is 16 inches. Base is 8 inches by 8 inches. The base is signed by Tom Stafford. Estimated Value $800 - UP

Nautilus Submarine fom Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This is one of the first resin cast models of Captain Nemo's famous submarine. Only a few were ever produced when the Disney lawyers served the model maker a cease and desist order. Then Disney, impressed with the quality of the model, turned around and hired this same modeler to make the sanctioned Nautilus models that were sold for a short time at Disney World Submarine Ride in the 1980s. Made of solid resin the Nautilus is 16 inches in length, 3.5 inches in width, 6 inches high. It comes with a wood base and is encased in a Plexiglas cover. Estimated Value $800 - UP

Eye-Catching Republic Thunderchief F-105. This is an M.M .Verkuyl metal model of the Republic Thunderchief F-105 from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is all aluminum, 1/50th scale. Matthys M. Verkuyl was a Dutch modeler in Badhoevedarp Holland, The Hague. He was contracted through Air-Parts International who supplied Republic with these models. The F-105 is in beautiful shape. There is a very minor dent on the back tip of the left horizontal. All the decals are intact and display very nicely. The model can be rotated and repositioned along its axis on the stand. Even the stand is made of aluminum.

Magnificent North American NA-249 Trainer. Mint condition, rare, proposal model of the NA-249. The North American Aviation Company produced the T-2 Buckeye Trainer for the United States Navy. It entered service in 1959. North American propose this modified version of the Buckeye to the US Air Force and called it the NA- 249. It was never produced. This is a plastic Topping Model from the 1960s that has been stored in its original box and never displayed. Because of that it is in mint condition.

Scarce Convair CV-600 BLANK MODEL. This is a rare blank model from the Convair Factory that was never painted. It is plastic with a metal stand and correct name plate. The CV-600 was a conversion from a Convair 240 aircraft done by General Dynamics that added Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines and first flew with Central Airlines in 1965.

Stunning Douglas B-66 Destroyer. The B-66 is a light bomber designed and produced by the Douglas Aircraft Company. It is the United States Air Force version of the Navy's A-3 Skywarrior. This is an all metal K & B model of the B-66. The condition is very good with just a touch of light oxidation of the chrome. There is a minor scrape on the blue canopy but the rest of the decals are all intact. The stand is also made of metal.

Rare Proposal Model of the Lockheed N-9, an advanced, modified and updated version of the Lockheed P-3 Orion, a turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the United States Navy. The N-9, like the P-3, is based on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner.

Pristine Titan II Missile Used in launching the Gemini Capsules. Manufactured by the Glenn L. Martin Company. The Titan II was part of the US Air Force's expendable intercontinental ballistic missile fleet until 1987. The space launch vehicle versions contributed the majority of the 368 Titan launches, including the Project Gemini crewed flights. This Titan II is a factory model, made out of plastic. The second stage and the nose cone can be separated. Second stage comes with its secondary rocket.

Historic Apollo-Soyuz US-Russian Space Link-Up. The Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) conducted in July 1975, was the first joint U.S.-Soviet space flight, done as a symbol of the new relationship of détente between the US and the Soviet Union. On the American side Tom Stafford was in command. It involved the docking of an Apollo Command and Service Module with the Soviet Soyuz 19 Capsule. This is a professionally built plastic model.
