A fine pocket watch for restoration as it is in overall fine condition however it is over wound and the back case does not close completely. Watch works are gleaming and without corrosion and save for light evidence of use comensurate to age, pocket watch is cosmetically in fine to very fine condition. Watch is numbered No. 26348 and stamped twice 14K, measures 56mm and with a total gross weight of 89½ grams. Elgin National Watch Co. silver open face railroad and watch appears to be working 55 mm, with foliate designs on case worn, on the other hand, a fine patina. 4.) Watch and band are in 18K yellow gold (marked 18K 750 on clasp) with manual movement, case no 9423 HA, with rectangular cushion shaped case, flat brushed finish work to case sided, a golden dial, baton markers, two hands, fitted to an integrated mesh bracelet of smooth finish, fitted with a fold over clasp. Watch has been tested and keeps wonderful time. Again, watch shows very little evidence of wear. 7" in length, face 18 x 12½ mm with watch having a total gross weight of 59 grams. Approximately 1 carat in diamonds, G color and VS clarity surround the striking horizontal oval watch with a lovely braided weave 14K yellow gold band. The watch is untested, but simply needs a new battery. We note the slightest fleck to the crystal at the 2:00 marker, noticeable only by holding watch at a slant towards the light.
