1790 Financial Document, Depression Script, Collection of $2 Bills, and an 1886 Railroad Pass. A 1790 certificate of public debt for $3503.96, 7½ x 8¼", Commissiioners Office, Oct. 25, 1790. Certificate received of Nathaniel Appleton, Commissioner of Loans for Massachusetts and signed by Theos. Parsons of Newburyport. Attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 18 x 16". Fine.
Depression Era Script -- isued by Multnomah County (Portland), 1933, for Twenty-Five Cents, Fifty Cents, and One Dollar. Handsomely matted and framed to an overall size of 21½ x 15½".
Uncut sheet of sixteen $2 bills, from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, signed by Francine I. Ness, Treasurer of the U.S. and by William E. Simon, Secretary of the Treasury. Mint condition. Beautifully matted and framed to an overall size of 33½ x 21½".
Two dollar bill from 1928, the first year of small currency. Mint condition. Matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 15".

Belmont, August, Sr. and Jr.-- Rothschild Letters To a Defining Figure of America's Gilded Age. Belmont (1816-90) German-born American banker, diplomat, political leader, sportsman, and patron of the arts. He entered the banking house of the Rothschilds in Germany at the age of 14; in 1837 he moved to New York to serve as the American agent for the Rothschilds and laid the foundations for his own banking house, August Belmont & Company. At one time he was the richest man in America and owned the most expensive house, the Belmont Mansion on Fifth Avenue. He was also a horse breeder who founded the Belmont Stakes.
A group of nine letters with financial content from Nathaniel de Rothschild, all dated 1864, six from London and three from Paris. With six letters from August Belmont, Jr. (1853-1924) as a young boy to his parents, along with two report cards. He was also a banker and would finance the construction of the original New York subway (1900-1904). Estimate Value $300 - UP

Rebozo (Bebe Rebozo, Nixon confidant), Boone Pickens (Trammell Crow), Lee Iacocca (Chrysler Corporation) Helen Gurley Brown (Cosmopolitan) Christie Hefner (Playboy) Ralph Ginzburg (MoneyWorth), James Hagerty (ABC), Harry Bridges (International Longshoreman) George Meany, Michael Eisner CEO and Chairman Walt Disney Company, handwritten note again by Harry Bridges, Noah Dietrich (Hughes Corporation) and a typed letter signed Philip K.Wrigley (Gum titan and owner of the Chicago Cubs until his death in 1977). Fargo, James C. -- American Express President Authorizing Contruction of a Railroad in NYC, 42nd St. From Lexington Avenue to the Harlem River. (1829-1915) President of American Express after the death of his brother, William G. Fargo in 1881. Document signed "Jas. C. Fargo," as president of The American Express Company, 14 x 8 ½", New York, May 7, 1895. A document authorizing "…the construction, maintenance, and operation, by the Metropolitan Street Railway Company, of a double track street surface railroad through…Lexington Avenue from 42nd St. to the Harlem River…". The document refers to the creation of the railroad which was the pre-cursor of New York City's subway system. Folds, otherwise fine. Estimate Value $250 - UP
