1793 S-3 R3- Chain AMERICA PCGS graded F15. Choice glossy light olive brown and chocolate. Perfectly smooth and very attractive, quite nice for a Chain Cent. Nearly flawless. The only notable marks are a very light rim bruise right of the Y in LIBERTY and an even smaller one at the first A in AMERICA. LDS, Breen state III, with strong die clashmarks at the neck and truncation. The date and legends are complete and clear. Our grade is VG10 Choice. Estimate Value $25,000 - UP

1793 S-8 R3 Wreath Cent, Vine & Bars Edge PCGS XF Details Environmental Damage. Slightly glossy medium to darker chocolate brown and olive. The planchet is covered with very fine granularity that is augmented by a half dozen pits in the field behind the portrait and a few more outside the wreath from the D in UNITED clockwise to the O in OF. Traces of greenish verdigris can be found in the bottom of some of the pits. In spite of the surface issues the date and legends are complete and sharp, and the eye appeal of this piece is fairly decent. MDS with a fine die crack slanting through the center of the reverse. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net VG10. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
