3 Autographed Covers, Signatures of 45+ Astronauts who Have Flown in Space, Mostly American and Russian. Fine collection of autographed covers with so many names, impossible to list them. But know three of the covers are foreign; A 1993 Association of Space Explorers in Vienna, Austria with mostly Russian Cosmonauts but also Americans Walt Cunningham (Apollo 7) and Hank Hartsfield (Shuttle). The other two are from the Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Exploreres that was held in Poland in 1995. Notable signers are Owen Garriott, Fred Gregory, John Fabian, Robert Overmyer, Charles Walker, Donald Peterson, Alexei Leonav, Valeri Kubasove (twice) and Toyohiro Akiyama. A typed listing of all signatures provided for all three covers. All in excellent condition. Estimate Value $250 - UP

Balance of Space Consignment: 4 John Glenn Signed Pieces + Deke Slayton, Vance Brand and John Griffith Single Signed Pieces. Nice collection of signatures. First are 4 John Glenn signatures; Two photos, one his Shuttle portrait suited up, and another as Senator. The third a card with the 4 cent Project Mercury stamp and the final piece a personal card Signed as J H Glenn Jr. as Lieutenant Colonel US Marines attached to a color 8 x 10 looking very young and wearing the Project Mercury insignia on his lapel. Also included a signed book by Scott Carpenter "For Sapcious Skies", a signed 8 x 10" photo of Vance Brand ASTP pilot and "Toward Mach 2" signed by contributor and ace test pilot who flew the early experimental airplanes the X-1, X-4, and D-558. 10 Signed Pieces by Mercury & Gemini Astronauts; Cooper, Schirra, Carpenter, Stafford, Shephard, Cernan and More. 8 signed color photos, one cover and one autograph album sheet of most of Gemini and Mercury Astronauts. Included are: Photo of Gene Cernan and Stafford but only Cernan has signed "Gene Cernan Gemini IX CMA" very bold and in black. Flair Two of Gordon Cooper, one a signed color photo, the other an autograph album sheet signed as Leroy Gordon Cooper where he also added the Mercury 7 logo in his usual tiny handwriting. Two autographs of Wally Schirra, one his 10 x 8" portrait; the other photo is of him and Tom Stafford and both have signed that photo. A great photo of Gene Kranz signed boldly standing by Mission Control as part of the Launch Control Team, in blue Flair with the quote "Failure Is Not An Option," which is the title of his biography taken from the film Apollo 13. A great still of Scott Carpenter autographed in suit and helmet boldly signed in black Flair, and finally, a signed cover stamped Virginia Beach July 5, 1961 where cover has typed Home Town Of Commander Alan B. Shepard Freedom 7 Capsule May 5, 1961. Shepard has signed above this text. "Alan B Shepard Jr." Six souvenir flight patches included, all presented in a slip covered binder. Estimate Value $500 - UP

Fine collection of Apollo astronaut signatures on a variety of materials: Buzz Aldrin signature on Texas Medal of Honor commemorative cover 10/17/70 to Apollo 11 crew, Michael Collins signature on Canadian National Emblem first day cover, Donn Eisele and Walt Cunnningham on Apollo 7 commemorative cover (dated Oct. 11, 1968) and four other signed Walt Cunningham pieces including two on color photos, one on a cover and one a signed personal check. Excellent Collection of 6 Apollo Astronaut Signed Pieces, 10 Autographs Total. Fine collection of 6 Apollo Astronauts totaling 10 autographs. 1)The most interesting is a vintage signed photo from McDonnell Aircraft Corporation dated November 19, 1966 post-flight capsule photo being loaded off a plane signed by James Lovell and Buzz Aldrin. 2) A vintage original 8 x 10" color photo of Michael Collins inscribed "To Harry Crocker with Best Wishes, Michael Collins". 3) One signed vintage 8 x 10" color photo and one SpaceShots trading card of the same portrait. 4) 3 pieces signed by Dick Gordon; a fine 8 x 10" B&W photo, a signed 3 x 5" card and a signed check dated March 31, 1978 5) Great Tom Stafford signed vintage color portrait taken during the ASTP "roll out", an ASTP crew photo also signed by Stafford and two strips of 70mm film from Apollo 10 which Stafford commanded. 6 Moonwalkers: Aldrin, Bean, Cernan, Scott, Duke, and Mitchell on Oversized Color Glossy of Earth from the Moon. Wonderful, oversized (12 x 15") color glossy of the Earth taken from the surface of the moon. Six Moonwalkers have signed and identified their mission. Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11), Alan Bean (Apollo 12), Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14), Dave Scott (Apollo 15), Charlie Duke (Apollo 16) and Gene Cernan (Apollo 17). Signatures are in silver or in black marker, all exceptionally large and bold. Slight crease in upper right corner that in no way impacts signatures or appeal of photo. Prime for museum grade framing.
Also included is a signed image of Voyager, the first non-stop, non refueled flight around the world in December of 1986, signed by pilot Dick Rutan. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP

Seven (7) Moonwalkers: Signed Photos by Bean, Mitchell, Scott, Irwin, Duke, Cernan, & Conrad. From Apollo Missions 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are these fine signed color 8 x 10s color photos of 7 men who have walked on the Moon plus two in the Command Module. Collection includes: two photos from Apollo 12: One signed photo of the full crew standing in front of the LM each having signed their names "Charles Conrad, Richard Gordon and Alan Bean", the second Bean on the moon signed " Alan Bean Apollo 12" who has one of the best signatures of all Moonwalkers executed in gold Flair. Apollo 14 Edgar Mitchell "To Mike, Edgar Mitchell Apollo14 LMP" in silver ink, Apollo 15 three photos one of the 3 man crew standing in front of Lunar Rover but signed only by "Dave Scott Apollo 15 Cdr" and "Al Worden Apollo 15 CMP the second photo on the moon saluting the flag "Dave Scott Apollo 15 CDR" in black Flair, and third photo also saluting flag signed "Bob Mivares His Love For The Moon, John Irwin" also in black Flair, Apollo 16 photo on the moon signed "Charles Duke, Apollo 16 LMP" in bold black Flair and the last Apollo 17, "Gene Cernan Apollo XVII" a bold large signature in black Flair. All signatures are in excellent condition, almost all obtained at autograph shows in person. Souvenir cloth mission patches included for two of the flights.

64 Photos Spanning A 37 Years Career of NASA Engineer/Senior Manager From His Personal Collection. Excellent collection of private and NASA issued photographs from the personal collection of a 37 year career of an Engineer, Flight Director and ultimately Senior Manager for NASA, About 25 early photos from Gemini Program from the 1960s including the Atlas Rocket, the Gemini Capsule, Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas, capsule recovery and more. 5 black and white photos stand out with the recovery of Stafford and Cernan from Gemini 9A at sea including USS New Orleans. From the Apollo program, about 35 photos issued by NASA of lift-off, recovery, wonderful images on the moon some we haven't seen before, images of moon rocks, their containers, and the modified Airstream trailer as the Mobile Quarantine Facility that housed the three astronauts for 21 days. Five (5) dramatic color photos from STS-41C (Challenger) repairing the "Solar Max Satellite" one with Nelson and Hoften on the repair arm next to the satellite holding a "For Sale" sign and even one of the Flight Director who assembled this collection. Additionally, 4 signed photos (1) by crew of the ISS Ed Lu, Malenchenko and Kaleri (2) Inscribed and signed photo by Jerry L. Ross veteran of 7 Shuttle Flights (3) Inscribed and signed photo by Clayton Anderson who spent 115 days aboard Space Station (4) a funny signed group photo by a Shuttle Crew members; and (5) Apollo Astronaut crew photos from 11, 12, and 13, all with facsimile signatures. Personal Collection of NASA Engineer: Photographs and Contact Sheets 50+ Many Unique Apollo, Skylab & ASTP. Great collection of color and black & white stills and contact sheets from a number of historic space flights. 33 contact sheets range from Apollo including several sheets of Apollo 1 fire tragedy photos, Apollo 8 parade photos, 5 or 6 contact sheets of Mission Control, Apollo 10 ocean recovery photos, and ASTP related photos (a few duplicates). The stills, both color and B&W(about 25-30) the bulk by NASA range from 2 images of Gemini food packs to mostly great images from ASTP. and Skylab. Hamilton Sundstrand Retirement Commemoration to a Celebrated 37 Year Veteran of NASA. Great desktop commemoration on the retirement of a 37 year veteran of NASA by his friends at Hamilton Sundstrand an American corporation that manufactured and supported aerospace and industrial products. A subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, it was headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The company was formed from the merger of Hamilton Standard and Sundstrand Corporation in 1999. In 2012, Hamilton Sundstrand was merged with Goodrich Corporation to form UTC Aerospace Systems. Commemoration is a limited edition (this one 182/200) aluminum and metal sculpture, with exceptional detail of an astronaut fully suited, standing 4" tall that sits on wood pedestal with bell glass cover. Small condition issues: a slight bend to one of the red tips and the satellite around the letters needs a drop of glue. Otherwise looks great when displayed (Velcro on verso) and quite colorful. There are Four sets of Outstanding Leadership/Exceptional Service Medals from NASA engraved on verso with the name of the Mission Operations Director, The fifth medal set is the National Intelligence Medal of Achievement presented by the NFIC/CIA and leather bound citation, un-flown patches from STS 41-D, ALT, Skylab II and III all with certificates, and finally medallion/certificates celebrating ASTP, Skylab and ALT as well. Mission Control Mounted Display Logos and Oversized Mission Control Patch. From the collection of the flight director, three different Mission Control displays, mounted logos. Each is about 15" in diameter with two mounted on wood, the other which appears never to have been displayed on foam core. The wood-mounted logos are the Mission Control Flight Operations emblem (designed by Bob McCall) from 1973, and The Enterprise Approach & Landing Test ALT Flight Team emblem. Both definitely show evidence of being displayed The third is the ASTP emblem. Also included is an oversized embroidered patch 12" in diameter, again of the Mission Control Flight Operations emblem. Commemorative Presentaion of a Piece of the NASA Flight Control Room (FCR) Presented to the Flight Director. Presentation of a piece of the Flight Control Room presented in a wood plaque with a plate that reads "In Recognition Of His Outstanding Contributions To Mission Control This Piece Of The Apollo FCR Is Presented…." This is the facility where NASA monitored nine Gemini and all Apollo lunar missions, including the historic Apollo 11 trip to the moon and the final Apollo 17 trip to the same lunar body. It is located in Building 30 of NASA Johnson Space Center. We have been told this was a section of the hand rail. 8 x 9½" and in exellent condition, only one tiny scratch on plexiglass. A fun presentation reflecting the comraderie on NASA Mission Control a fishing lure fashioned from wood taken from the orginal Flight Control Room (FCR). This is the facility where NASA monitored nine Gemini and all Apollo lunar missions, including the historic Apollo 11 trip to the moon and the final Apollo 17 trip to the same lunar body. It is located in Building 30 of NASA Johnson Space Center. The Flight Director was an avid fisherman and this was presented the year of his retirement "From Your MCC Friends" Plaque is 10 x 8" in excellent conditon and the hand-fashioned lure, exaggerated in size, brings a smile.
