Cash, Johnny -- Signed Cover of Words & Music to "A Boy Named Sue". The cover has a head shot of "The Man in Black" who signed in black marker at lower left. The song, which was written by humorist and poet Shel Silverstein, was recorded live in concert on February 24, 1969 at California's San Quentin State Prison for his At San Quentin album. The song became his biggest hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and his only top ten single there, spending three weeks at No. 2 in 1969. Estimate Value $500 - UP

Collection includes music and lyrics of: "Rock Around the Clock," inscribed to Michael Hecht and signed by James E. Myers, aka Jimmy De Knight, who wrote it; "Blue Suede Shoes," inscribed to Michael and signed by Carl Perkins in 1981; "Hound Dog," signed by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller; "The Pink Panther" (piano solo), signed by Henry Mancini; "What the World Needs Now is Love," signed by Hal Davis, who wrote the lyrics; "The Exodus Song" inscribed and signed, "For Israel! Pat Boone"; Elmer Bernstein, CD, "Elmer Bernstein by Elmer Bernstein" signed on the cover; "Hollywood Nights" with separate 8x10" photo signed by Bob Seger. Additionally, "Vocal Selections From Mary Poppins" signed by Robert B. Sherman and inscribed to Mike Hecht, whom Sherman calls "a truly supercalifragilisticexpialidocious guy!" Another item, from Disney, which calls the Sherman Brothers "Walt Disney's 'Supercalifragilistic' Songwriting Team" is also signed by Robert Sherman. Estimate Value $200 - UP

Irving Berlin Program for the World War I musical "This is the Army," written by Berlin, for a performance in Birmingham, signed on the cover; worn at folds. George Gershwin, signature cut from a check by his brother Ira, affixed to a 3x5" card with accompanying note by Ira Gershwin signed with his initials, "I.G." and a note in his hand saying, "Here's an actual signature of my brother's -- cut from one of some bank checks I came across recently," no date. Johnny Cash -- Inscription and Signature in a 1966 "Johnny Cash Souvenir Picture and Song Book," With Other Souvenirs. Signed "My Best to you, Johnny Cash" in blue ink on page 12 of the "Johnny Cash Show Souvenir Picture and Song Book," which is the 1966 Edition. According to a post-it note attached to the cover, it was signed at Orange Show Stadium in San Bernardino, CA. Accompanied by a book, "Pocket Cash" by photographer Jim Marshall, with an introduction by John Carter Cash.
A "Souvenir Picture Program Stars of Grand Ole Opry" has signatures of Minnie Pearl, George Morgan, and a few other early performers. Also, "Heather's Country Staroscope" from 1967 and a 1974 souvenir program from the Grand Ole Opry. Estimate Value $600 - UP
