(1863) Civil War Store Card Token OH 165ADa-1b Rarity-9 VF. Good for 10 Cents in Drinks at the Continental (assumed to be a hotel in Cincinnati). Rather glossy medium brown and light chocolate. There is some dirt in protected areas and a couple minor bends in the very thin planchet, but the legends are devices are all clear. One of the rarest store card tokens in the US Civil War Token series. (Note: The true location of this establishment is unknown. The latest research has been unable to verify the hotel was located in Cincinnati.). Estimate Value $350 - UP
