Consists of 9 covers franked by Confederate stamps, 65 used Union Patriotics including scarce designs, 200 pieces of soldier's mail with a few bearing contents, Sanitary Commission covers (x4), 1864 Presidential election covers for soldiers and other voters (x4), US Military Railroads cover, other official business covers and other material. Other two are 5¢ blue, Stone 2 (#4) with large even margins tied to cover to NC by blue Columbia S.C. May 26 cancel, very fine (2013 PF cert) and 5c blue local, #7, horizontal pair tied to cover by faint cancel & "Paid 10" arched handstamp which is struck an additional 11 times on front & back that vary in size.
