Group 3 "The Fourteen" Vintage Original Signed 4 x 5" B&W Photos 10 of 14 Including: Bassett, Freeman, Aldrin, Bean, Gordon, Eisele, Anders + 3 more. Excellent collection of NASA's Group 3 Astronauts selected in 1963, commonly known as "The Fourteen". From this group, NASA was able to achieve many of its greatest accomplishments well into the next decade due to the dedication and expertise of these men.

This B&W, 4 x 5" photo portrait collection contains a total of 11 of "The Fourteen" men of which ten are autographed. Please know all the signatures are bold but are autographed across their dark suits with mixed degrees of contrast. Included are two rare signed photos: One by Charles Barrett, signed as Charlie Barrett (who with Elliott See) perished in a T-38 trainer jet in 1963. Both were scheduled to fly on Gemini 9. The other is by Theodore Freeman inscribing to a Steve Raskin and signed "Ted Freeman, Captain USAF (NASA)". Freeman also perished flying a T-38 Talon in 1966 when on his landing approach, geese flew into his jet engine, he quickly banked away from military housing, overshot the runway, ejected but his parachute failed to deploy.

Also include is 2nd Moonwalker, Buzz Aldrin inscribing again to Steve (Raskin), David Scott, Walter Cunningham with legible signature, William A. Anders signing as W.A. Anders, also legible, Richard Gordon signing as R. F. Gordon and is very visible, Donn Eisele also equally visible, Russell L. Schwiekert and Alan L. Bean. The unsigned photo is of Gene Cernan.

Excellent collection in spite of several having poor contrast. Estimated Value $1,200 - UP

Various great cuts of film on one reel from Gemini missions 3 through 9, including Edward White's space walk. Some dirt particles are present on the film and comes with LOA from Underwood family. Group Of 62 Gemini 11 and 12 Glass Slides Including Buzz Aldrin's Selfie, From The Collection Of Dick Underwood. Included in the lot are a total of 62 glass slides from Gemini 11 and 12. One of which is Buzz Aldrin's EVA self photograph numbered S-66-62926 and the rest are mainly views of Earth. A few have broken glass but are in overall good condition and comes with LOA from Underwood family. Estimated Value $200 - UP

Two Early NASA Artifacts; Gemini -Titan V (GT-5) Flown Checklist Manual Page Grid plus a Scarce Pin Section from the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse. Two unusual pieces from some of the earliest days of NASA and the Cape. 1.) From the Gemini program, GT-5, with Gordon Cooper and Pete Conrad on board in August of 1965 for nearly 8 days. From Conrad's re-entry flight manual, a full page grid measuring 1 ¾x 1¾" that was clipped from a page of 24 grids that flew on GT-5. Conrad's manual was acquired by Havekotte in 1994 and these segments have allowed other collectors to enjoy a piece of flown history. Also an 8 x 10" vintage color litho is included of both astronauts. 2.) At the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station sits an historic lighthouse. Found on the site when the lighthouse was moved further inland in 1868 a door hinge pin was found. The pin was divided into only 20 pieces. This is one of the 20 segments and comes on an informative LOA by William Dickerson about this history of this beautiful lighthouse. Estimated Value $150 - UP

Gemini 4 Vintage Photos Includes Ed White's Spacewalk With Reference Material From The Collection Of Dick Underwood. A great collection of twentyeight 7x7 original NASA Gemini 4 photos printed on "A Kodak Paper" and glued to informative pages. Four photos are of Edward White's space walk and the others are high altitude Earth views. Also includes a reference book titled "Earth Photographs from Gemini III, IV, and V in fair condition. Gemini IV Orbits 1-22, GOC-4 (GT-4), First Edition, May 1965, Orbital Charts, Full Set, 1-3. Very scarce, vintage original orbital charts from Gemini IV (Astronauts McDivitt and White) prepared by the USAF Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. All three charts for the mission are included. Chart measures 9¾ x 28" and each chart is in excellent, rolled condition. No tears, no fading, no repairs. Estimated Value $600 - UP

Gemini VIII, Gemini Mission Chart (GMC) 8, First Edition, January 1966, with Ground Track Coordinates for Revolutions 17-44 Printed on Verso. Very scarce, vintage original orbital chart from Gemini VIII (Armstrong and Scott, flight dramatically recreated in the film, FIRST MAN) prepared by the USAF Aeronautical Chart and Information Center. Single map for ground tracking coordinates with revolutions 17-44 printed on the verso. Chart is 10¾ x 32" and in excellent rolled condition with no tears, repairs or fading.

Also included is a Mercury Orbit Chart MOC 3, while still published by the USAF, the chart is not a First Edition and reads "This Chart is Identical to Those used by Col. Glenn and Cdr. Carpenter on Their Orbital Flights in the Mercury Capsule. Chart in excellent rolled condition 8½ x 32" and virtually near to mint. Estimated Value $500 - UP
