1787 Fugio Cent Newman 12-X R3 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. A STATES UNITED variety. Frosty light olive and bluish steel brown with faded mint red covering about 15% of both sides. There are tiny planchet chips on the left half of both sides (as struck) and a swipe of darker olive toning on the right edge of the reverse. No spots, corrosion, or contact marks. Essentially as struck, just toned down over the years. Most likely from the famous Bank of New York Hoard of FUGIO Cents. PCGS population 160. PCGS #883. Estimated Value $1,750 - UP
