For example, the vibrant pink shell is the lower left is hand painted by Lassen, with an original autograph in metallic gold Sharpie over the printed autograph. Clayton Pond. "Dirt Bike Motocross". Clayton Pond (b. 1941) was among the first artists to employ silkscreen printing in a fresh, distinctly personal way. His limited edition silkscreen prints are immediately recognizable for their bright, cheerful colors with a shine as if the inks were still wet. But what is truly impressive is the high number of colored inks used some having up to twenty separate layers.

From the artist about this print: "Dirt Bike Motocross" shows the sport of dirt bike racing with trail bikes. The image came from a race the artist attended in California. One of the points of interest is the treatment of the background. The main action is in the foreground. In contrast, the artist uses line work and a more limited color palette to create another scene that dissolves into the background, becoming a visual pattern that sets up an optical vibration.

"Dirt Bike Motocross", from 1979 and in 13 colors, is 30 x 40", signed and titled by Clayton Pond, Printers Proof (of 5 PP made). Part of the American Leisure-time Obsessions Series. Estimated Value $300 - 800

Clayton Pond. "Dune Buggy".

From the artist about this print: This iconic image, "Dune Buggy", portrays a lifestyle the artist witnessed while in New Mexico. Dune buggies were stripped down Volkswagens created for driving around the dunes in the desert or on a beach. In this image the artist has created a composition within a composition. The main compositional structure is formed by the rear view of the dune buggy’s broad, squatting body and oversized tires, framing a secondary composition of the suspension and the engine.

"Dune Buggy", from 1979 and in 14 colors, is 30 x 40", signed and titled by Clayton Pond, Printers Proof (of 5 PP made). Part of the American Leisure-time Obsessions Series. Estimated Value $300 - 800

Clayton Pond. "End Of The Trail".

From the artist about this print: "End of the Trail" is one of two motorcycle images done from a Motocross event the artist attended in southern California. The title and the pose of the rider are a reference to the artist James Earle Fraser’s sculpture of the same name showing a native American Indian on his horse. Pond’s view is of the new American West in an homage to Fraser’s original image of the Old West.

"End Of The Trail", from 1979 and in 14 colors, is 30 x 40", signed and titled by Clayton Pond, Printers Proof (of 5 PP made). Part of the American Leisure-time Obsessions Series. Estimated Value $300 - 800

Clayton Pond. "Motter Printing Press".

From the artist about this print: In 1988 the artist was commissioned by the Motter Printing Press Company to create a 9 x 11' painted construction sculpture, and a serigraph print edition for the company’s 35th anniversary. The print image is a two-dimensional adaptation of the large painted sculpture. The multi-colored web and rollers of the flexographic press in the central part of the painting contrast with the simpler treatment of the electronics and gears in the side panels. In addition to his unique use of color, the artist’s fascination with the inner workings and details of the machinery is evident here. Also apparent is the fun he has with details like the dizzying diamond pattern on the steel foot plate that runs across the bottom of the press.

"Motter Printing Press", from 1988 and in 23 colors, is 30 x 40", signed and titled by Clayton Pond, Printers Proof (of 5 PP made). Estimated Value $300 - 800

Pablo Picasso. Pour Robie. Pablo Ruiz Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. As one of the most influential Modern artists of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso is renowned as a legendary artistic master to this day.
Before he struck upon Cubism, Picasso's artwork went through many styles – realism, caricature, the Blue Period, and the Rose Period. These distinguished styles are apparent in the unique original works as well as Picasso ceramics, lithographs, linocuts, and etchings that he created later in his life.

An original etching, signed and titled on the copper plate so the artist's signature and the piece's title are reversed in the print. Picasso has captured the character of a close friend: Robert Godet, also known as Roby. This piece was initially drawn for his friend. Picasso later etched the portrait onto a printing plate so that Roby could include the print in his book L’Age de Soleil. Estimated Value $500 - 1,000

Salvador Dali. "Sun Goddess Flower" (Artist's Proof Signed). (1904-1989) Salvador Dali, the icon of surrealism was part of an avant-garde movement in the mid-20th Century coinciding with the rise of psychiatry and explorations of the mind through dreams. Dalí rendered fantastical creatures and landscapes that pushed the outside of the envelope in how to see the world through his unique mind. His 1931 canvas "The Persistence of Memory" (the melting clocks on trees) is one of the most recognizable artworks of all time.

One of the most popular and optimistic of Dali's work is his "Sun Goddess Flower" from 1972. It's a work bursting in vivid colors with a sunflower that truly captures one's attention. Lithograph is 30 x 22" hand signed in lower right corner by the artist and is an artist's proof as noted by the "E.A." Examined in frame appears to be in superior condition. This work was created for the Sun Goddess Flower Lithograph project published in 1972 and is framed to 36 x 29" Indeed lithograph can be sent without frame to save on shipping.

To assuage any fears of authenticity, this lithograph was vetted by Bruce Hochman of the Salvador Dali Gallery, Inc. in San Juan Capistrano, CA, who is one of the most reputable Dali experts in the US that numerous auction houses defer. Slavador Dali. "Dressed in the Nude in Surrealist Fashion" (Artist's Proof Signed).

"Dressed in the Nude in in Surrealist Fashion" is one of 12 Lithographs with etching in colors on Japon paper lifted from Memories of Surrealism from 1971. Lithograph is 25 x 19", hand signed in lower right corner by the artist and is an artist's proof as noted by the "E.A." in pencil. Examined in frame, lithograph appears to be in superior condition with colors vivid and bright. Lithograph has been matted and framed to 36 x 30". Indeed we can remove from frame to save on shipping especially given a brighter mat and a contemporary frame could add immeasurably to its presentation and appeal.
