Large collection 245 silver strike $10 gaming tokens from only Las Vegas, Nevada casinos. All are in excellent condition and each individually cased. On average the silver content range from .56 to .60 and having .999 fineness. 54 Casinos are represented in the collection with all but nine having multiples of 3 to 5 tokens. Vintage Original Golden Nugget, 25¢ Slot Machine ca. 1940, Mills Manufacturer. In Excellent Working Condition. Perfectly legal to own in all 50 states, a vintage original ca. 1940, fully operational, 25¢ Golden Nugget slot machine in excellent condition. Fantastic visual appeal with funky retro design elements such as the two nudes that flank the slot machine holding large nuggets aloft, with two nuggets randomly placed on either sides of the reel. In overall excellent condition with walnut sides and base with black enamel steel face, top and back, inside pull out tray present and with lock and keys. 26 x 16 x 15", weighing approximately 110 pounds. Two $40 gaming tokens from Caesar's; One Caesar's Palace, Atlantic City with charioteer on verso with (1½ troy ounces of silver) and one from Caesar's Tahoe, Lake Tahoe, Nevada with gold face and Roman Coliseum on verso (.5 ozt. beautiful!). 3.) Collectible Silver Strikes: (16) Sixteen $20 and $40 Gaming Tokens with .999 Silver Content Known as Silver Strikes. Several Ltd. Editions. Excellent collection of 16 collectible silver strikes, many limited edition issues. Silver strikes are tokens issued by casinos that had redeemable values from $7 to $20 to $40 to as high as $300. Offered is a collection of similarly sized $20 and $40 silver strikes. These tokens contain about .5 to .6 troy ounces of .999 silver and enhanced with 14K yellow gold overlay in the centers over brass. The designs range from Casino logos to some very interesting designs relating to a a casino's themes such as a wolf representing Sam's Town Casino $20, a gas lantern on Bourbon Street for Harrah's $40, a bust of Diamond Jack for Cactus Pete's $20, a Follies Bergere dancer for The Tropicana $20, a steamboat for Nevada Landing $40 and the like are all quite appealing and in bold relief almost all highlighted in 14K yellow gold overlay. All are 1¾" in diameter and the total gross weight of all 31 troy ounces. Other casinos included are Hard Rock Cafe $20 Fender Stratocaster image, Desert Inn Golfer Ltd. Edition $20, Westward Ho Ltd. Edition $20 and the floating Admiral Casino, St. Louis Ltd Edition $20. The $40 gaming tokens include Harrah's flying genie, Harvey's western desert image, Caesar's Palace Winged Victory and the Mirage Danny Ganz token. All in superior condition. 12 Scarce Wilbur Clark "Token" Set (Silver Dollar Sized) of Various Compositions: 9 Desert Inn and 3 El Rancho Vegas (One Silver). Wilbur Clark was an American Casino owner and land developer in Las Vegas. He initially financed the building of The Desert Inn, originally called Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn, and ran out of money. He then found completion financing through a silent partner a mobster from Clevleand, but Clark remained the personality and figure head. At any rate, it was the jewel of Paradise, Nevada and attracted swells from all over the world in the 1950s and early 1960s. Offered is a fine, scarce collection of silver dollar sized tokens 1½ x 1½", each unique, that were also used as key chains or affixed to money clips. They are in white metal, copper nickel and one in silver. Nine of the tokens celebrate the Desert Inn and three El Rancho Vegas Casino. The Desert Inn after nearly 50 years was closed and demolished in 2000, pretty much marking the end of old Las Vegas. This collection is steeped with that nostalgia of a time long past. Complete Set of 8 Michigan Tool (MTE) Gaming Tokens from 1965 (Thunderbird Hotel "No Birds" Token) + 1968 Set 48 Franklin Mint Tokens. 1.) Michigan Tool & Engineering was one of a handful of businesses in the US that manufactured silver dollar sized gaming tokens for gambling casinos in Nevada. Offered is their complete set from 1965 including two for the Thunderbird Hotel in Las Vegas; one very rare missing 4 stamped birds on obverse. The six other tokens are Crystal Bay, Sahara and Nevada Club of Lake Tahoe, Harvey's, Stateline, John Ascuaga's Nugget, Sparks, and Joe Mackie's Star, Winnemucca.
2.) 1968 SERIES FRANKLIN MINT GAMING TOKENS PROOF SET #0745 Group 1-12 mint in original cards
