Pioneers of Early Satellites and Space: 20+ Covers Signed by NASA and Global Notables including an Outstanding Wernher von Braun. Impressive collection of 20+ signed covers from early Air Force, NASA scientists, as well as pioneers from around the world. Included is a very desirable, signed, air mail envelope with an excellent hand-created cachet with a striking image of Wernher von Braun boldly signed by von Braun with a postmark dated November 9, 1956, Huntsville Alabama. Most of the men have signed wonderful covers of historic satellite launches like Nimbus, Echo, Mariner-6, NATO-1 Mariner -7 and the like, signed by notables such as William Pickering, Glenn Seaborg and J.M. Van Allen (Time Magazine Man of the Year 1959).
Also included are 12 postmarked tracking covers from Australian Observation Stations and 40 commemorative covers of communication satellite covers. Entire collection in superior condition. Estimated Value $800 - UP

UFO History: Extremely Scarce Autograph by W.W. Brazel, 1947 Roswell Rancher, UFO Crash Find. Rare endorsed check by W. W. "Mac" Brazel, the rancher who discovered in 1947, unidentified remains at a crash site about 75 miles outside the town of Roswell, New Mexico. His story is the stuff of legend and has for 70 years been the subject of much debate and spawned countless conspiracies of Government cover-up of extraterrestrials, secret experiments and the like. His interview from 1947 is available on http://www.roswellfiles.com/Witnesses/brazel.htm and makes for great reading. Check comes with notarized COA from Loretta Proctor, neighbor of Brazel, the check issued by her husband and endorsed twice by Brazel on both sides of draft note in 1948. Estimated Value $500 - UP
