A Remarkable Louwelsa Clock. Height: 11"; width: 14". Two orange flowers and lush green leaves decorate the front of this unusually shaped clock, believed to be an experimental piece. Artist L. McGrath has signed on the back. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the base, as are the numbers 1 and 820. With a few imperfections to the glaze and cracking to the face of the clock, between 6 and 7, but the clock itself works, and the overall appearance of the piece is very good. An intriguing experiment, perhaps anticipating Art Deco. A one of a kind object!

Pansies rendered in sunny shades of yellow to golden-bronze are scattered across the upper portion of this oil lamp base, which has three curving handles and three corresponding legs. The Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal is impressed to the bottom. Drilled for use as an electric lamp. With some chips to the glaze at the high points of the handles, minor surface scratches, and some discoloration from a decal now absent from the bottom (and therefore virtually imperceptible) this piece is nearly fine.
