A complicated man, Tracy is almost inseperable from Katherine Hepburn both have co-starred in several films together, but also being life long friends. Tracy was with MGM for twenty years, his films earning great acclaim. Offered are two oversized, double weight portraits by Otto Dyar. Two Portraits of Legendary Sisters: Olvia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine. Two acting greats who just happened to be sisters, Olivia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine. Both are Oscar winners, both beautiful and talented and frequently the subject of a pereceived rivalry greatly overblown. First a very rare vintage original double weight studio portrait of Ms De Havilland from the 1930s. Stamped on verso Photograph by Elmer Fryer and Warner Bros. Picture this was likely a publicity photo for CAPTAIN BLOOD in 1935. The other is of Joan Fontaine likely from the 1940s, lovely in sweater and pearls. Both in overall excellent condition with only a corner crease to the upper right tip on the De Havilland portrait. Estimate Value $500 - UP

Wynne Gibson was a very prolific actress of the 1930's known for being one tough, hard-boiled blonde, playing every sort of street smart or tough role studios would give her. She is best known for NIGHT AFTER NIGHT and THE CROSBY CASE. She retired early, became an agent and was the longtime partner of actress Beverly Roberts--an open secret and impressive, given the time.
