A Night at the Opera (1935, MGM).

U.S. Re-release. Set of eight lobby cards. Size: 14 x 11". Title card is lightly buckled as are the edges of most cards, light soiling at edges. Accompanied by a full-sheet poster for Woody Allen's Play It Again, Sam. Overall, in very good condition.

Considered the best of the Marx Brothers' thirteen films and a comedic classic, A Night at the Opera emphasized the zany antics of Groucho, Chico, and Harpo while incorporating a love story.

Casualties of War (Columbia, 1989). Psychological drama about the realities of the Vietnam War, based on actual events. Directed by Brian de Palma, starring Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn.

Camouflaged helmet worn by Sean Penn in the film Casualties of War as the character "Meserve". The hard helmet is equipped with a camouflaged cover and includes its laminate liner, complete with padding straps. Identification plaque inside helmet indicates that the piece was indeed used by Sean Penn during filming, and was inventory of "Vietnam Veterans in the Media". Penn's name has been penned twice inside liner, with additional costumer's notes on liner. Accompanied by two 8 x 10" black and white photographs of Penn wearing the helmet. In fine condition overall.

Cary Grant, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., and Victor McLaglen star in this adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's poem of three fun-loving British sergeants on their final mission during the Thuggee uprising in India.

No Way Out (MGM, 1987). When a politician accidentally kills his mistress, a naval officer named Tom Farrell, is assigned to investigate the case. Farrell, however, is also having an affair with the woman. As the twists of the plot unfold, Farrell must find the killer before he becomes a suspect.

Officer's cap worn by Kevin Costner in the film No Way Out. This white dress cap features black trim, a gold band and a decorative Naval emblem. Identifying plaque indicates that the cap was used by Costner as part of the "Vietnam Veterans in the Media" production inventory. Accompanied by a color movie still of Costner with the hat. In very fine condition.

Platoon (Hemdale, 1986). Academy Award winning film written and directed by Oliver Stone. The first of a Vietnam trilogy, Platoon is a dramatic portrayal following the lives of American soldiers in a platoon, confronted by the trama of fighting the ever-changing war in Southeast Asia.

Collection of combat props used by Charlie Sheen in the film Platoon. Includes a shovel, measuring 27½" in length, that features an adjustable handle. Also included are two machetes accompanied by a fabric scabbard, each with identifying plaques that indicate the pieces, being production inventory of "Vietnam Veterans in the Media", were used by Sheen. Finally, a canvas bag, stencilled "US" on its flap. Bag also features an identifying plaque indicating the piece was used for filming. A color, 8 x 10" movie still of Sheen accompanies the lot. In fine condition overall.

Military Officer's cap worn by Timothy Hutton as "Colonel William Kent" in The General's Daughter. The crisp, white cap features an ornamental gilt emblem of the American seal. Identifying plaque indicates that the piece was worn by Hutton as part of the "Vietnam Veterans in the Media" production inventory. Accompanied by two movie stills picturing Hutton in the cap. In excellent condition.
