Southern Nigeria, 1912, 3d Edward violet on yellow, Forcados bisect cover. Scott 36 var. Bisect tied to registered cover to London (backstamp) by March 5, 1912 Forcados registered cancel. Robson Lowe book indicates that at the time of publication only one cover was known (exact date of usage is noted). Some aging and mail handling, cover with partially excised backflap from somewhat rough opening, but exceptionally rare, if not unique piece of Nigerian postal history.
