1922, $20 Gold Certificate. Fr-1187. A popular twenty dollar goldback of the large size issued from 1922 through 1929 although only the single "1922" series date is used. The portrait on these was engraved by Alfred Sealey. The 1922 series is the commonest, with over 87 million notes produced for circulation (although most were destroyed by the government after 1933). PCGS graded Very Fine 25.
