1800/798 S-191 R3 Overdate, Style I Hair PCGS graded VF35. Glossy dark steel brown and chocolate with traces of mint frost in protected areas on the reverse. There are no traces of roughness or verdigris, only numerous light contact marks scattered over both sides. The best identifying marks are a shallow planchet flake in the field off the right end of the base of the Y in LIBERTY and a scuff of extremely faint hairlines on the face. M-LDS with die cracks and strong clashmarks on the reverse with lighter die clashmarks on the obverse. The overdate feature remains visible on all 3 digits (800 over 798). Our grade is net VF30. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 7 finer; 3 in 40, 3 in 53, 1 in 55 for the variety. PCGS #36146. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
