1794 Franklin Press Halfpenny Token Breen-1165 PCGS graded AU53. Very attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with frosty tan in protected areas. The only mark worthy of mention is a tiny pinprick under the left side of the E in PAYABLE. Later (but not the latest) die state with an internal cud break in the middle of the press. A nice example that comes with an equally nice provenance. The Craig-Heard provenance is noted on the PCGS label. Listed on page 78 in the "Redbook." Estimate Value $500 - UP
