1912-S. PCGS graded MS-65+. Lovely rich golden toning favors the periphery of the obverse and reverse. The devices and fields are satin smooth, with soft nickel gray hues that blend with the natural rosy gold shades. This is a low mintage date, as a scant 238,000 were struck in this first year of nickel production for the San Francisco Mint. Pop 80; 50 finer, 48 in 66, 2 in 66+.
