1843 N-2 R1 Petite Head, Small Letters PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous light olive and chocolate with traces of golden tan and lighter steel in protected areas. No spots or stains. The only notable mark is a small, barely visible rim bruise over the M in AMERICA. E-MDS die state a, with a clearly defined rim cud break over UN in UNITED. The rim cud is especially bold on this example. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#14 in the Grellman census. The attribution and Fricke provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 2 finer in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $600 - UP
