1831 N-3 R1 Medium Letters PCGS graded AU58. Glossy light olive brown with underlying frosty lighter brown toning in protected areas and hints of sea-green overtone. Virtually free of marks. A pair of microscopic pinpricks in the field under the chin and a small spot of dark olive toning well-hidden in the hair right of the ear can help identify this cent. LDS with flowlines covering the fields, the stars starting to be drawn to the rims, and the reverse rotated 15 degrees CW. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Fricke provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 9 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $500 - UP
