1794 S-42 R4 VF25. Sharpness near VF35 but there are myriad faint hairline scratches on the portrait and in the field to the right. The surfaces are smooth and attractive in spite of the microscopic hairlines and the only additional marks are a rim bruise under the lowest curl and a couple thin nicks at the second S in STATES. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. LDS, Breen state II, with clear die clashmarks behind the head and along the profile. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
