1813 S-292 R2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous light olive brown and chocolate mixed with some lighter steel brown and tan toning in protected areas on the obverse. Attractive sea-green and light bluish steel overtones cover the reverse. An attractive Classic Head cent showing only a few trivial marks. The notable ones are a thin horizontal nick under the eye, a diagonal hairline scratch on the cheek, a couple light nicks below the curl on the cheek, and a dull nick down from the middle of the M in AMERICA. M-LDS, Breen state V early. The dentils on the reverse are nearly gone and flowlines extend from many of the stars to the rim. Graded AU55 and tied for CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #37424. Not seen by Bland. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and Reynolds provenance are noted on the PCGS Secure label. Pop 2; none finer at PCGS for the variety. Estimate Value $8,000 - UP
